Time to crunch those numbers: La Canada home statistics October 2018
Last month there were twenty-one La Canada home sales, a large increase from last month’s eight closings. Why such a vast difference? Likely due to vacations and settling back into to the school year. 19% of the homes experienced price reductions prior to selling. The large drop in the median home price reflects an incredible opportunity to purchase a larger home.
The least expensive sale was $1,065,000 for a four bedroom, two bath, 1,452 square foot home on Wyncrest Way. The most expensive home sold for $4,800,000 for a six bedroom, nine bath, 7,905 square foot home on Meadow Grove St. Thirteen homes sold for less than the asking price, and eight La Canada home sales sold over asking price.
