Lets take a look at La Canada home stats for February 2019
Last month, there were fifteen La Canada home sales, up from January’s five closings.
The least expensive sale was $800,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bath, 1,632-square-foot home on 5105 Angeles Crest Highway. The most expensive La Canada home sold was my listing for $2,850,000 for a five-bedroom, six-bath, 5,041-square-foot home on Lyans Drive. Two La Canada sellers reduced their asking price (list price) before selling. It’s not all bad news; seven homes sold over their original list price. One sold at the original asking price.
The absorption rate dropped substantially. This is likely due to so many La Canada home sellers waiting for the rain to stop before listing their homes in the MLS.
