As a Senior’s Real Estate Specialist, I have been specifically trained and certified to meet the unique needs of Senior Citizens. Although State and federal laws prohibit discrimination based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation or religion, they do allow for the creation of senior housing. In California, a Senior is defined as one who is fifty-five years or older.

Only one occupant needs to be fifty-five
California law dictates that the spouse or co-habitant must be at least eighteen. A friend, relative or simply someone renting a room must be at least forty-five.
