Here’s how our Montrose home sale played out: I met the sellers in April. They signed the listing agreement June 6th. My client’s home was immaculate and there was very little to do in preparing this Montrose home for sale.
As I met with them early, we had ample time to prepare the marketing. In addition to professional photography, just listed postcards, and an ad campaign we had time to produce a lifestyle real estate video. This Montrose listing went live in the multiple listing service on July 8th. We held the home open on the 9th for the Foothill real estate caravan and the 10th for Glendale caravan. The home was open that weekend Saturday and Sunday. At the sellers request we contained the showings to the open house dates and times. We had nine offers and placed this Montrose listing in escrow on July 14th.
We listed this three bedroom two bath home at $1,050,000 and closed for $1,175,000. Each home sale is structured differently. There is no one size fits all marketing plan. Fortunately, this home seller contacted me early and the marketing process was seamless.
