Last month the most expensive home sold was 1776 Linda Vista Avenue Pasadena. This luxury home overlooking the Rose Bowl was previously listed for $4,500,000 and sold before going in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) for $4,425,000. The seller purchased this home in March of this year for $3,812,000 and sold it in two months. By looking at the prior listing it doesn’t appear to be a flip.
When evaluating pricing, it’s best to not focus on just one comparable but to evaluate as a whole. I am sure there is an explanation as to what happened. It could be many things.
