The adu’s sure are a big selling point theses days
In La Cañada? It sure didn’t help 4335 Woodleigh. I can really only imagine ADUs working for extended families as La Cañada doesn’t have a big market for homeowners with larger homes wanting/needing to rent out an ADU and thus having strangers on their property. 4335 would have had a much better chance of selling if the money they used for the ADU went to the main home (or to a more reasonably sized ADU). Just my two cents.
I am currently dealing with an ailing mother so that is where my pov is coming from. A nice home with an adu for her would be a great solution for us. Using a adu for strangers isn’t anything I would want to do either
