Let’s examine the housing market for La Canada in May 2021. Twenty-five homes sold last month, down a bit from April. Fifteen of these twenty-five homes sold for over asking, four sold at the asking price, and six were under the asking price. Four homes had price reductions before eventually selling.
Last month, the least expensive home sold was a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,523-square-foot home located at 4712 Rockland Place for $1,325,000.
The most expensive home sold was a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom, 9,645-square-foot home located at 655 Hillcrest Ave. for $8,995,000.
Interesting to note more than half of the homes sold in May 2021 were over 2 million.
