The number of La Canada home sales has picked up and sadly (for home buyers) the absorption rate is down. The percentage of U.S. residents who own their homes is at the lowest point it has been for more than 20 years, according to a report from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The average La Canada home is selling faster, and for 102.13% above asking price. The average price per square foot, average and median selling price are down from March, but still much higher than the beginning of the year.
The silver lining for La Canada home buyers is that there were 15 new La Canada homes for sale on Tuesday’s broker’s tour.
