Let’s take a close look at La Canada Home Sales, August 2018
Last month, there were twenty La Canada home sales. The least expensive sale was $910,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,444-square-foot home on Rockland Place. The most expensive home sold for $5,870,000 was a six-bedroom, six-bath, 7,394 sq ft home on Oakwood Ave.
In the month of August, there were six price reductions, which is a reflection of the stabilizing real estate market. The absorption rate of 2.95% is up from last month’s 2.15%. Note that the last three months reflect that is taking longer to sell La Canada homes. Days on the market (DOM) is nearing two months. The median home price indicates that one-half of La Canada listings sell for more than $1,740,000 and one-half for less.
