Last month the least expensive La Canada sale was a three-bedroom, two-bath, 1,092-square-foot home on Ahlin Dr., which sold for $817,500. The most expensive home in La Canada was a five bedroom, seven bath, 7,191, square foot home located at 4909 Oakwood Ave. which sold for $5,250,000.
Thirty-two La Canada homes closed last month. There was just one sale under $1,000,000. Eight sales were over $3,000,000 – it’s been a while for that market to bounce back. Six of these luxury sales sold less than the asking price. One sold over asking prior to hitting the MLS (multiple listing service). We are seeing more home sellers selling off the market due to COVID. Even with safety precautions in place, some prefer to sell with limited showings.
