Last month, twenty-two homes were sold in La Canada. Seventeen of these homes sold for over the asking price, two at asking, and three below asking. Just three of these homes had price reductions before selling. Kris has a buyer she has been working with, she wrote a strong offer for her clients for the home at 2113 Sunnybank Dr. She did not even get a counteroffer. This home sold for $251,000 over the asking price.
The least expensive home was a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,737 square foot home located at 5108 Angeles Crest Hwy for $1,350,000. The most expensive sale was on a five-bedroom, eight-bedroom, 8,797-square-foot home located at 5350 Harter Ln. It sold for $7,000,000.
While the average price per square foot was $861.80, the low side was $683.20 for our luxury sale on Harter Lane. A 1711 square foot home on Dover sold for $1,534.19 per foot.
I am completely amazed anew whenever I see 250000 over asking. Or something like it. Still seems crazy to me but it keeps happening
