The least expensive home sold in La Canada was a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,317 square foot home located at 1417 Curran St. Listed for $1,150,000 and sold for asking price in twenty-eight days. The most expensive home sold was a four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,560 square foot home located at 850 Saint Katherine Dr. This 2001 built estate was initially listed for $5,995,000 and sold in twenty-seven days for $5,860,000.

The lowest days on the market for the year and the absorption rate indicate a strong seller’s market. Both the average and median prices are in the mid-two-million-dollar range. The starter home on Curran noted above was just 1,317 square feet located on a 5,398 square foot lot adjacent to high tension lines.

When examining the La Canada real estate market for June 2023, it’s interesting to note the range of the price per square foot. Price per square foot varied greatly. A 4,535 square-foot home on Lavender sold for $694.60 per foot. While a 1,972 square-foot home on Hillard sold for $1,356.49 per foot.
