Let us dive into the La Canada Real Estate Market for October 2023. The significant change is that the days on the market was the lowest year to date.

Last month, the least expensive home sold in La Canada was a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,480 square feet located at 4811 Hampton Road. Initially listed for $1,650,000 it sold in five days for $1,645,000. The most expensive sale was a four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 3,610 square-foot home at 4305 Woodleigh Lane. This home was initially listed for $4,795,00 and sold in two months for $4,675,000.

The average sales price to list dipped. Five sales were over the asking price, while six were less than the asking price. Three La Canada homes sales were at list price, two of which sold off market which is what drove the average number of days on the market to drop.

When analyzing the La Canada Real Estate Market for October 2023 it’s always interesting to note the difference in the average price per square foot. On the low end was a 5383 square foot home in the Canyon on Inverness. It sold for just $631.62 per foot. On the high end was the Woodleigh sale noted above, selling for $1,295.01 per foot.
