Last month, thirty-four homes sold in La Canada. The La Canada housing market continues to thrive. The average price per square foot has increased, and the median sales price has also increased. The least expensive sale was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,404-square-foot home located at 4832 La Canada Blvd. It sold for $1,250,000. It was initially listed at $1,100,000. The most expensive home sale was a four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 4,951-square foot home located at 828 Flintridge Ave. It sold for $6,000,000 and was initially listed for $6,250,000.
The absorption rate is the lowest for the year. Price per square foot ranged from $665.69 – $1,610.07.
From Core Logic: Home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased year over year by 20.9% in March 2022 compared with March 2021. On a month-over-month basis, home prices increased by 3.3% in March 2022 compared with February 2022.
