Let’s dive into the Pasadena real estate market for April 2024—twenty-five of the forty-four homes sold over their asking price, two are at the asking price, and seventeen are under their asking price. A four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 236 N. Michigan Ave. sold for $610.17 per foot. This home was also the lowest-priced home sold last month. It was initially listed at $849,000 and sold in fifty days for $720,000. Proving once again that the longer a home is on the market, it typically sells for substantially less.
A two-bedroom, one-bathroom at 149 California Terrace sold for $1,706.93 per foot. The most expensive home sold in Pasadena last month was a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 7,723-square-foot home located at 1341 Hillcrest Ave. The seller listed this incredible home for $8,350,000 and it sold for $7,950,000.
Two homes sold off the market (prior to MLS entry), and another sold in just one day. A home on California sold after 164 days on the market. As usual, the average price per square foot greatly varied. On the low end a home located at 2046 Alta Pasa Dr. sold for $591.79 per foot. On the high end was the home on California Terrace noted above.
