As I compose this post, the MLS lists twelve La Crescenta homes for sale, each priced at over $1,000,000. There is not a lot of significant architecture in La Crescenta. I was surprised to discover this Neutra in the Los Angeles Foothills offered at $7,900,000. It is not far from the home I sold in La Crescenta’s Markridge Estates earlier this year. It’s rare to find this level of significant architecture in La Crescenta. This Neutra sits on over 5 acres, with a second home on the property, both providing breathtaking city and mountain views.
Architect: Neutra
1350 square feet, Bear Valley stone fireplace in the living room, two bedrooms with Neutra-designed built-in furniture.

Architect: Michael Maltzan
This angular home with triangles and polygons appears similar to the Lloyd Wright home (Gainsburg House) in La Canada I sold. 1 bedroom, office, and den.
There is also a 3rd (lower) building pad.
I don’t understand why the home isn’t listed in the MLS, which serves as a powerful marketing tool. While researching my Jack Simison designed mid-century in La Canada, I happened to come across it on the internet.
