A lot of things have changed due to COVID. Many businesses are struggling to survive. My daughter’s Montrose yoga studio has closed, opened and closed again. She has adapted by holding online classes. But a lot of people and businesses are using COVID as an excuse. They are the lazy trains. We pride ourselves on being the little real estate engine that could!
There are many trains, there are train wrecks and crazy trains. And COVID is bringing them all out. At Harb and Co. we strive to be the little real estate engine that could. COVID has changed the way we sell real estate in Los Angeles County. Fortunately for us, many of our listings are vacant which certainly simplifies the process. Our La Canada listing near Descanso Gardens is vacant, our Glassell Park home is vacant as well. We just closed escrow on a vacant La Canada townhome and a La Canada fixer on 3/4 of an acre. We install a touchless hand sanitizer and create a sanitation station and we are good to go.
We have two new listings coming soon, in Arcadia. Both are seller occupied. And this is an entirely different situation. Buyers must be prequalified prior to appointments. Masks are required and all kinds of extra precautions are necessary. I am not a scientist nor a doctor and I want to take all precautions to insure my client’s safety.
So let’s exercise some extra patience and some good old fashioned common sense and courtesy and get back to business as best we can. Let’s all strive to be the little engine that could.
