The most expensive home sold in March 2019, was 3831 Sky View Lane La Crescenta. This home sited in La Crescenta’s popular Markridge Estates neighborhood was constructed in 1991. It took 53 days before the home went into escrow. Initially listed for $1,395,000 it eventually entered escrow after a $145,000 price reduction. This luxury home sold for $1,230,000. The sellers purchased this home in 2006 for $1,300,000 and took a loss on this sale. We haven’t seen that in a while. I continue to believe first-time buyers are driving our local real estate market, and now is an opportune time to move up.
