Let’s look in-depth into the Pasadena housing market in August 2021. Last month, sixty-nine homes were sold. Fifty-three of these homes sold over their asking price, three at asking, and thirteen below their original price. Nine of these homes had price reductions before selling.
The least expensive sale was a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, 835-square-foot home located at 459 Mar Vista Ave., which sold for the asking price of $740,000. The costliest Pasadena sale was a five-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,306-square-foot home located at 837 El Campo Dr., which sold for $4,800,000. A whopping $1,588,000 less than the asking price.
Days on the market is the lowest year to date. The Pasadena absorption rate continues to be less than two months of housing supply.
