I closed my architecturally significant mid-century on Fairmount last month – an amazing home but it needed updating. What constitutes luxury real estate is different in each community; in La Canada $3,000,000 buys you something substantial.
Only one La Canada, $3,000,000+ home closed in July. It was a 5 +6 on Descanso Drive, one of La Canada’s premier streets. The home was custom built in 2005, a little over the top for my preference, but very grand with quality appointments. The ½+ acre lot offered a lot of frontage and was wide, leaving the back yard a bit shallow.
