While growing up in Glendale, my dream was to have my own swimming pool.  As my family didn’t have one, we would visit the public pools:  Glendale’s Verdugo Park pool was a favorite (since gone), the Glendale YWCA, and the Griffith Park pool were also frequently enjoyed.
