Founded in 1874, the city is renowned for its Annual Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl Football Game. Pasadena is also greatly admired for its architectural homes. Most were built in the early 1900s. Castle Green is one of the most popular older buildings, located on Green and Raymond. The community is also home to renovated historic buildings, condos, and lofts. The city is located 20 minutes Northeast of Downtown Los Angeles.
