Two homes sold at their asking price; however, eleven sold for less. For instance, a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home at 315 E. Howard St sold for $469.47 per square foot. Meanwhile, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 1338 Glen Oaks Blvd sold for $2,033.90 per square foot.
Last month, the least expensive sale in Pasadena was a three-bedroom, one-bathroom, 1,236-square-foot home located at 894 N. Summit Ave. This property was listed for $545,000 and sold for $650,000 in seventeen days. The most expensive home sold was a five-bedroom, five-bathroom, 9,853-square-foot home at 846 Madre St., Listed for $7,500,000 and sold in twenty-one days for $7,600,000.
Thirteen Pasadena homes sold in fourteen days or less. A two-bedroom, two-bath home on Catalina listed for $850,000 and sold for $1,100,000. Pasadena home sellers listed a four-bedroom, two-bath home on Mentor for $1,300,000 and sold it for $175,000 below the asking price. Eight Pasadena homes remained on the market for fifty or more days before selling.
From CoreLogic: Home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased year over year by 3.4% in September 2024 compared with September 2023. On a month-over-month basis, home prices increased by 0.02% in September 2024 compared with August 2024.
