La Canada Home Sales, June 2018
Last month there were twenty-four La Canada home sales. The least expensive sale was $1,051,000 for a three bedroom, two bath, 1,548 SqFt home on Palm Dr. The most expensive home sold for $5,200,000 for a 6,837 sq ft home on Woodleigh Lane. Ten homes sold for less than the asking price, two sold at asking price and there were twelve La Canada home sales over asking price.
The low absorption rate of 2.56% reflects a strong seller’s market. However, it is now taking longer to sell La Canada homes. Days on market (DOM) is now nearly two months, the longest time period year to date. The median home price indicates that one half of La Canada listings are selling for more than $2,190,000 and one half for less.
