Seven of the sales sold over the asking price and four below asking. A six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, and 7,417-square-foot home at 4925 Oakwood Ave. sold for $660.64 per foot.
Four of the eleven sales were more than $3,000,000. Five were under $2,000,000.
A four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 4,951-square-foot home at 828 Flintridge Ave. sold for $1,353.26 per foot. It was the most expensive home sold last month, listed at $6,495,000, and sold in thirty-five days for $6,700,000. The least expensive home sold in La Canada was the two-bedroom, one-bathroom, 896-square-foot home at 4518 Ocean View Blvd. It was initially listed for $1,025,000 and sold over asking for $1,050,000 in fifty-five days.
The number of days on the market ranged from a low of ten for a fifteen hundred square foot home on Rockland, to a high for a home on Oakwood selling in 72 days for $4,750,000. Last month there were not any off market sales.
In the current market a recent drop in interest rates has offered some relief to home buyers.
