Located just minutes from Pasadena and La Canada Flintridge, this gated Chevy Chase Estates home delivers luxury, privacy, and incredible views. This impressive residence offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and 3,711 square feet of living space. In addition, the 33,121-square-foot lot provides an abundance of usable land, according to the assessor.

Perched on a knoll, the home was carefully designed to capture its extraordinary surroundings. As a result, multiple decks showcase panoramic views that extend all the way to the ocean. Recently updated landscaping enhances the property’s curb appeal. Meanwhile, expansive porches, patios, and decks create the perfect setting for indoor and outdoor living.

At the center of the home, the gourmet kitchen features a large island, abundant counter space, and an adjacent breakfast room. Moreover, the kitchen opens directly to the family room. French doors then lead to the gardens and a spacious patio designed for alfresco dining. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms occupy the second floor. However, the third floor belongs exclusively to the primary suite.

This private retreat features a fireplace, built-in speakers, and a large walk-in closet. In addition, the spa-inspired bathroom offers dual vanities, a sauna, and a private sunset veranda. Additional amenities include a deep three-car garage, a wine room, abundant storage, and a separate work area.

Furthermore, the home offers dual-zone HVAC, a central vacuum system, an intercom, fire suppression, and security systems. Solid-core hardwood doors and custom iron fencing add timeless character. Finally, a handcrafted bell created by Mexican artisans and a distinctive moat bridge create a memorable first impression.

This exceptional property combines luxury living with convenient access to Pasadena, La Canada Flintridge, and major freeways.

I love seeing beautiful character homes found in Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank and Toluca Lake. I greatly appreciate when they are restored, keeping their original character intact.  Read more about Restoration versus Renovation
